More great mail

I received my final swap card from Anna...it was "Y" which represents "Yokohama Mama". LOL Anna has been very creative with her cards to represent the letters used during this swap round.

I had someone post a comment and ask about this swap. Here is a little info, just email me if you'd like to consider joining this swap. This swap has been going on for over 10 years. It is open to members who are willing to respect and follow the few guidelines we have. The swap rounds run for 6 weeks, with one card a week sent to your swap partner following the swap theme (which changes every round).You can participate in as few or as many swap rounds as you'd like. We have a private, password protected online bulletin board where we chat with our swap partner. One of the swap requirements is to post at a minimum every other day. Some swap rounds have a box of goodies ($ amount announced for each swap round but usually $10 or $25) that are mailed to your swap partner and shopping is done from a wish list your partner has given you. Some rounds are cards only and other rounds are cards with a small item "tucked in" the card. The swap is open to beginners to advanced stampers. Your stamping level is less important than the quality of your work. The swap is usually open by recommendation only of another group member. If you are interested in the swap please email me.

Another comment I received was how the Starbucks coffee card was made. It was a previous class I took online from Wilna. I believe it would be a copyright issue for me to post the instructions but in a nutshell here's what you do. Get a tall size Starbucks cup, cut out the bottom and flatten it. Stitch on a sewing machine down one side, across the bottom and up the other side. Paint, embellish, etc. Make yourself a template of a flat piece of cardstock that will fit inside the cup then decorate as desired.
